Caroline Wood
Ms. Wood serves as Controller for LTD and is responsible for the development, analysis, and interpretation of LTD’s financial and statistical information. As Controller, Ms. Wood establishes and implements LTD’s plans and policies, its accounting principles, and the conduct of its relationships with lending institutions and the financial community. She is also responsible for tax planning and compliance with all federal, state and local payroll and other applicable taxes. Ms. Wood establishes LTD’s major economic objectives and policies, outlining the company’s financial position in the areas of income, expenses and earnings based on past, present and future operations.
Ms. Wood joined LTD after working as an audit supervisor for Witt, Mares, Eggleston, Smith, PLC, for three years, and as Senior Staff Accountant for McPhillips, Roberts & Deans, PLC for five years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Old Dominion University, where she also completed her accounting program course work. Ms. Wood is a certified public accountant.
Frank Stephens
Frank Stephens, Vice President of Human Resources for LTD Management Company, LLC, develops and oversees the administration of all human resources policies and programs. Mr. Stephens brings over 16 years of human resources management experience to the company. In this position, he serves as an employee advocate and a business partner/ advisor to senior management on human resources issues.
Prior to joining LTD, Mr. Stephens served as Human Resources Director for CB Richard Ellis in Norfolk, Virginia where he led the department in support of all Virginia and North Carolina offices.
Mr. Stephens earned a Masters degree in Human Resource Management from George Mason University. He is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources Management.
Kimberly Schlick
Ms. Kimberly Schlick is the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for LTD, directing all marketing and sales initiatives for LTD and its properties. Ms. Schlick manages initiative planning and development, brochure and collateral development, e-marketing, and public relations for the company. Before serving as Vice President, Ms. Schlick held the Corporate Director of Sales position at LTD for eight years, overseeing direct sales, sales management and administration, and revenue management. While at LTD, Ms. Schlick has overseen the development of 18 hotel properties of various brands across eight markets.
Prior to joining LTD, Ms. Schlick worked with Marriott for eight years in various leadership roles including Multi-Department Operations Manager and Multi-Hotel Sales Manager. Ms. Schlick earned her bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University.
Paul Griffith
Mr. Paul Griffith, Vice President of Operations, focuses on the profitability, recruiting efforts, and overall strategy of LTD Management hotel portfolio.
Joining the company in 2002, Mr. Griffith has worked as General Manager of LTD’s Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Norfolk and most recently as Area Manager for several LTD hotels in Norfolk and Chesapeake, Virginia.
He currently serves on the Mayor of Norfolk’s City Taskforce Committee as well as on several boards of directors, including the Norfolk Convention and Visitors Bureau, the NCVB Training and Research Foundation, and the Norfolk Hotel and Motel Association.
Mr. Griffith holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and is a Certified Hotel Administrator.
Prakash Rajamani
Prakash Rajamani, Senior Vice President of Strategic Investments and Development, oversees all aspects of hotel site selection, development, and acquisitions. He is responsible for leading a team that sources, underwrites, and closes on new investments in the company’s investment pool.
Prior to joining LTD, Mr. Rajamani was a Senior Director for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. – directing site selection and overseeing the strategic rollout of Starwood’s new brands: aloft and element. In former positions, Mr. Rajamani oversaw site selection and other real estate development activities in the New England area for Yum! Brands (parent company of Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and KFC. He is also an attorney who practiced law at the international firm of Arnold & Porter in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Rajamani holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Juris Doctor from the Tulane University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
