Sheraton Extends A Warm Welcome To Guests In The Baltimore-Washington Area

(LTD) together announce the opening of the Sheraton Baltimore Washington Airport (BWI) Hotel in Linthicum, Maryland on May 10, 2007. The official opening of the hotel will be celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony for the community on Thursday, May 17th at 11:00 a.m. with a wide variety of prizes including a grand prize raffle for Southwest Airline tickets.
Located approximately two miles from the BWI Airport at 1100 Old Elkridge Landing Road, The Sheraton BWI Hotel is ideally positioned to serve the increasing numbers of travelers to the Baltimore-Washington area. Drawing approximately 33% of the commercial airport in the mid-Atlantic region, BWI Airport has emerged as one of the busiest transportation destinations for the national and international community. The exterior design of the Sheraton prototype hotel features urban architecture with a 19th century American park design including a courtyard, cobblestone pavement and black iron fencing. The warmly decorated interior includes mahogany and leather furnishings, suede wall coverings, and dramatic lighting.
The hotel’s 193 rooms and ten suites showcase a design featuring rich jewel-tone colors and the signature Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed. Guests will also enjoy the sleek bathroom design, including retro chrome fittings on a freestanding marble vanity, double frosted glass doors at entry and frameless glass shower stalls. The hotel also features Sheraton’s signature Club Level rooms.
