Local hotel celebrates National Customer Service Week
Chesapeake, VA - Comfort Suites Chesapeake is celebrating Customer Service Week with events to commemorate “teamwork” and achieving zero guest concerns. One of the week’s highlights is a pep rally with cheerleaders from Indian River High School on Wednesday, October 8th at 4:30 p.m. at 1550 Crossways Boulevard, Chesapeake.
The pep rally will include cheerleaders with traditional pom-poms and spirit signs, an appearance by the Comfort Suites staff and other hotels that have challenged Comfort Suites Chesapeake in team spirit and service excellence.
Customer Service Week is a national event held annually to recognize the importance of customer service. Celebrated during the first full week in October this year’s theme is One Team – One Goal.
“At Comfort Suites Chesapeake we value our customers all year, but what a great time to take a week to rally the staff and go above and beyond in service to our guests,” said Brad Fleenor, General Manager of Comfort Suites Chesapeake.
With the theme of team in mind, Comfort Suites Chesapeake staff signed a service week pledge to commit to customer satisfaction and to serving and supporting customers and co-workers throughout the year. Other planned activities at the Comfort Suites Chesapeake include:
- How many zero’s are in the suitcase game and Zero Guest Concern contest which involves guessing game how many customer concerns the hotel has had this year and striving for zero guest concerns in the fourth quarter
- LTD’s largest (20 foot long) ice cream sundae
- Scavenger Hunt –
- Presentation on 25 ways to be an excellent team player
- Spirit Stick award to best team player for the week
