LOCAL BUSINESS PAINTS A NEW PICTURE
OF THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY

Hampton Roads, VA- Over 20 General Managers from hotels across the region in the LTD Management Company, L.L.C. (LTD) family recently came together in Hampton Roads to roll up their sleeves and create a six-canvas painting that will be donated to Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters (CHKD) for the 8th floor inpatient cancer unit.

“This was truly an amazing experience,” says Damian Polewczak, General Manager of the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Williamsburg who spearheaded the project for LTD. “I know I am speaking for all of the General Managers who participated in this project when I say that it was an honor to take part in creating a work of art that will assist so many children as they work through the process of healing.”

This unique initiative was a significant part of LTD’s General Manager quarterly meeting and was held in partnership with “PaintFest” and The Foundation for Hospital Art, a non-profit organization that gives volunteers with varying degrees of artistic experience the opportunity to create paintings that will inspire and comfort hospital patients across the nation. The final painting will be unveiled at a later date in a private ceremony at CHKD, where it will stay on display for years to come.
