New Hotel to Grace Downtown Norfolk Skyline

A Downtown Norfolk parking lot will be the home to a 160 room Residence Inn.
The Chesapeake-based LTD Management Company will manage and construct the project scheduled to begin this fall and open in late 2008.

The lot, which LTD Management Company bought from the city of Norfolk, is located on Brambleton Avenue and Duke Street, near the downtown YMCA.

LTD officials say the hotel will add 45 jobs and over $800,000 of tax revenues for the city. They say it will be downtown Norfolk’s first extended stay hotel.
